Cherry June Balagosa RMT, CDT
Cherry’s foundation in health and wellness was established early in life through athletics, where she developed physical awareness through various sports including competitive soccer. This dedication to physical wellbeing continues today with her belief that health is a function of participation. Her routine consistently includes strength training, diverse movement practices, and whatever activities keep her body moving and engaged. She remains curious, always exploring new ways to stay strong and energized. These varied physical experiences deepen her understanding of body mechanics and human potential.
Before finding her path in massage therapy Cherry worked in the medicinal cannabis industry for a considerable period, an experience that awakened her passion for holistic healing approaches. Working with cannabis as medicine sparked her fascination with holistic health and opened her eyes to the body’s remarkable capacity for self-healing.
Cherry’s connection to massage therapy is deeply intertwined with her Filipino heritage. In Filipino culture, there is a tradition of seeking “hilot” healers—traditional massage practitioners who combine physical therapy with spiritual healing. This ancestral connection resonated deeply with Cherry and guided her transition into massage therapy as she embodies the healing spirit of the hilot tradition.
Today, Cherry blends her diverse background in athletics, holistic health, and cultural healing traditions to provide therapeutic massage that nurtures both body and spirit. Her approach honors the body’s innate wisdom while drawing upon time-tested healing techniques to support each client’s wellness journey.
Cherry has developed a deep passion for lymphatic health—often considered the underappreciated system of the body. She has earned her certifications from the internationally recognized Dr. Vodder School. This progressive training enhances her expertise in advanced lymphatic techniques that complement her comprehensive approach to therapeutic care.
Whether supporting recovery, addressing pain, or promoting overall wellbeing, Cherry finds joy in being of service and witnessing the transformative power of therapeutic touch.

Leonie Bedet
Leonie has always been curious about the mind-body connection at a young age and began her holistic journey through yoga and food studies where she completed her Yoga teacher training in 2006 at Yasodhara Ashram in the Kootenays of BC. While at the Ashram, Leonie was taught how food can be a form of medicine and was taught on nutrition and food cures which prompted her to begin her Traditional Chinese Medicine journey and enrolled at the Pacific Rim Academy of Acupuncture in Victoria. After graduating in 2011, Leonie has been practicing throughout the lower mainland providing a safe, compassionate and professional care to patients.
With Leonie’s passion with connecting the mind and body and releasing emotional trauma has led her to Yvonne Farrell. She completed her clinical mentorship program with Yvonne Farrell, which focused on psycho-emotional pain. Her main form of treatment is using the eight extra-ordinary vessels which are the post-natal points, the blueprint that give structure to the embryo as they help to orient and guide development. These vessels are deeply tied into our psycho-emotive functioning. Treating psycho-emotional pain can release and treat physical health conditions that patients come in for treatment.
In her spare time you will see Leonie cycling around town, drinking tea and befriending/petting cats :)

Anny Kyun B.Sc., R.Ac.
Anny is a Registered Acupuncturist who practices a unique style of Japanese Acupuncture called Kiiko Matsumoto style of Acupuncture (KMS). Her treatment consists of diagnosis through palpation which provides instant feedback for patient and practitioner. This method of palpation is mostly done on the abdomen and areas of the limbs where certain sensations or lack of reflexes can diagnosis certain conditions of the body. This style of acupuncture addresses the whole medical history to treat the root of each issue rather than just treating the symptoms. KMS Acupuncture needling methods are shallow and painless, using the smallest gauge needles. She is constantly upgrading her knowledge and skill set in order to achieve the best possible results for her patients. Anny has been practicing since 2010.
Anny’s introduction to acupuncture and health can be traced back to her grandfather, a life-long acupuncturist, who passed down the knowledge he gained over the course of his career to her. A great deal of her practical experiences has come from working abroad, treating thousands of patients onboard luxury cruise ships.
She is currently registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. Alex Yang
(He/They)
RMT, BKIN
As a senior Registered Massage Therapist, Alex is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for patients. His philosophy encompasses providing manual therapy with compassion and high regard for each patient’s relationship with their own body, gender, and culture. Alex has centered his practice in Vancouver’s Davie Village and West End since 2021.
Many patients ask Alex what his “style” is, which ultimately stems from working in tandem with each person’s nervous system and understanding that individuals have different treatment needs at various times. Each treatment must be flexible and uniquely tailored – there is no “one size fits all” approach. Alex prefers incorporating myofascial, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy and attachment release, joint mobilizations, and dynamic release/movement. Alex provides deep pressure and works with a targeted focus for those who prefer this approach. He is also trained and certified in IASTM therapy (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), sports massage, athletics taping, rehab programming, intra-oral TMJ (jaw dysfunction) treatment, and sports first aid & concussion management.
Alex completed his massage therapy education with honours at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Prior to his journey in massage therapy, Alex was involved with BC’s high school gymnastics program as a coach and judge. He also started as a gymnast at a late age for the sport and continues to do so recreationally, along with weight training, volleyball, and yoga.
